The 2010 Valley at Work Business Exhibition !
Date published: 28 July 2010
The Rossendale valley’s biggest and best business bonanza is bouncing back in Autumn 2010!
Ask Rossendale Ltd is pleased to be presenting the 2010 Valley at Work Business Exhibition, with sponsorship already from the likes of Rossendale Radio, Larner Murphy Accountants, with a few more surprises to come over the next few weeks.
Taking place at the recently-rescued Bacup Community Hub – formerly Bacup Leisure Hall – at the end of September, this premier Exhibition is the ideal event to give local businesses of every size, a real boost after the summer break.
Watch out in the local media – internet, print and radio – for more details, but this event will have something for everyone. There will be real opportunities for businesses to network with each other, to find out what is happening in the areas of funding, and for the general public to find out more about the great business successes in the valley.
Andy MacNae of PEER, who is helping to plan the exhibition along with a team from Ask Rossendale and Valley at Work said: “I am really pleased that we are going to be able to hold an exhibition this year that will be even bigger and better than last years, and so thanks to Awards for All, Ask Rossendale and PEER for making this possible. We have made some changes based on what we learned last time, and believe the Exhibition will be a great opportunity for exhibitors to show off what they can do and find new customers..”
Catherine Murphy, the main sponsor of the Exhibition through Ask Rossendale, is expecting to revitalise the Leisure Hall over the coming months. The Business Exhibition will be one of many innovative ways that the Hall will be put into action, for the benefit of the whole community.
She says: ‘I am very pleased to be part of a committed team putting on this Exhibition. Ask Rossendale is a great example of the new businesses springing up in the valley – a Rossendale-based Internet News Provider that also is a ‘one-stop shop’ for businesses looking to network together, and wanting to stay up to date with funding developments in the valley. This is one place they can come for current information.
‘We are investing in this Exhibition as part of a re-launch of Ask Rossendale Ltd (www.askrossendale.co.uk) , which we are looking to make the number one website for Rossendale. What will help make this site successful, is that local businesses do well, and I believe we will both survive and prosper – even in the current economic climate – if we all work together and help each other. ‘
Andy MacNae added: “By adding the new ‘Rossendale Business Awards’ to the event we also believe that this will be a great celebration of Rossendale businesses and local entrepreneurs.”
The Valley at Work Exhibition will take place at the end of September 2010. You will be able to find out more on www.valleyatworkexhibition.co.uk or at www.valleyatwork.co.uk .
