POLICE in Lancashire are appealing for information about a man who is wanted on warrant and are asking people to come forward if they have any information.
23 year old Basha Ullah, from Rossendale is wanted on a court bench warrant after he failed to appear before Burnley Crown Court for a hearing set up because he breached the conditions of a suspended sentence.
Ullah is around 5 feet 9 inches tall and of medium build with short, black hair and brown eyes and it is possible that he may have left the Lancashire area.
Inspector John Clucas said: “As always, I’d like to reassure the public that as a force we have a high success rate of arresting people wanted on warrant and use all methods to catch these people.
“I would also ask the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police. We want these people bringing to justice and any details the public may have could be crucial.”
Information can be passed to the local police, or by e mail using the e mail address on the wanted on warrant web site, or it can be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
