Beavers and Cubs gets police visit

The 40th Rossendale Beavers and Cubs recently enjoyed a visit from local Neighbourhood Policing Officers.

PC Nicola Scott and PCSO Kirsty Bolton spoke to the youths about staying safe and the work that police officers do in the local community.

Visits from local police are just some of the exciting things members of the 40th Rossendale Beavers and Cubs can enjoy.

Simon Evans, Cub Scout Leader said: “Visits from the Police and other organizations are just some of the things members of we arrange for our young beavers and cubs and they are always thoroughly enjoyed.

“We are currently looking for new members so if you’re interested in joining or helping out, then please get in touch with us.”
