Organisers are looking to form a new troupe of Morris Men to perform during the Rushcart celebrations in September 2008.
Applicants from the Whitworth area will need to have bags of enthusiasm and a reasonable sense of timing.

Between 8 and 16 men are needed. If 8 can be found, the troupe will perform The Shawforth Morris Dance, and if 16 are found, they will be able to perform The Whitworth Morris Dance, an intricate dance only performed in Whitworth.
