Steelmen Stick With Rossy

Date published: 18 July 2010

Rossendale United are delighted to announce that the club has one again been offered support from James Killelea & Sons. This will be the fourth season that this leading Valley Company has seen fit to be Rossendale United's main sponsor.

Chairman, Steve Hobson: 'We are currently in a deep recession and times are particularly hard for us all, and that must be particular so for companies associated with the construction industry. I am absolutely delighted that Killelea's have the confidence in Rossendale United to make a business decision to expend their resources with us. We will work extremely hard to repay that faith in us and give the company a good return on their investment.'

One of the UK's leading structural steelwork companies, James Killelea and Company Limited was established in Rossendale more than 40 years ago. During that time it has been heavily involved in football - working on a number of stadium construction projects - fabricating the steel at its Crawshawbooth headquarters and erecting it on site at many of the country's leading professional football clubs.

Company Chairman Bob Killelea said: 'This is the fourth year we have supported Rossendale United. The Club plays an important role in our local community and demonstrates a strong commitment to The Valley. The Club has plans to extend their community support and we, as a company, endorse that effort.'
