Miscarriage Support Charity off the ground

A new charity, launched to provide support to both men and women who have lost a child through miscarriage, or been affected by the loss, has had a successful first meeting, and the organisers, Ruth and Andy Snape, are pleased at the turnout and were able to make plans for the future.

This first meeting of The Lancashire Miscarriage Support Group, to be repeated every fortnight , enabled people to share their experiences of loss, and to talk about the kind of support they would have found helpful.

The group was then able to explore ways of making others in the community aware of this support , and to consider ways of raising funds for leaflets, posters and the like.
