Christine was born in the Rossendale Valley and has lived in Stacksteads for over 40 years.

A well known shop keeper in Stacksteads for 25 years, she is now employed as a home carer working in the Rossendale area.

She is a Governor at St. Josephs RC Primary School in Stacksteads, member of St Joseph's and St Peter's Church, a director of Stacksteads Riverside Park Group and is a shadow portfolio holder Street Scene and Liveability.
